JOB DESCRIPTION

*Face-to-face business development role

Responsible for providing service recommendations and estimates on commercial cleaning industry utilizing a tablet computer and the most advanced presentation and estimating technologies available in the industry, must drive to visit potential clients, reach the goals of calls per day, advance the territory to include development of local business partnerships and organizational affiliations and local enhancement of Glaring Cleaning Services positioning and brand. 

A typical workday consists of going to the main office twice a week to complete administrative tasks, meeting with the rest of the sales team and area manager, then driving to visit commercial buildings in your operation area.

DUTIES

  • Generation of new leads with targeted businesses through various prospecting activities, including cold calling, canvassing, customer referrals and partner relationships.
  • Assess and qualify potential customers. 
  • Network to sell business to consumer to build a strong customer base.
  • Introduce customers to new products and services. 
  • Research and analyze new customers and new opportunities. 
  • Identify and prioritize target accounts and individuals (i.e., being resourceful to identify opportunities for Glaring Cleaning Services).
  • Follow up on opportunities to sell Glaring Cleaning services that come from referrals, marketing campaigns, networking, and industry events.
  • Support with the continuous development and evolution of the GCS strategy. 
  • Attend meetings, conferences, and events to promote Glaring Cleaning services, as required.
  • Maintain quality sales records and preparation of sales and activity reports as required.
  • Responsible for Customer Satisfaction and supporting a positive impression of the Glaring Cleaning Services Experience
  • Other duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in the cleaning industry Sales is a PLUS
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level of professional experience.
  • Valid Driver’s License and satisfactory driving record
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must be detailed oriented.
  • Must have the ability to multitask
  • Able to lift 25 lbs.
  • Strong Sales and Customer Service skills.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • The ability to learn quickly and work efficiently as productivity goals are met.
  • Good organizational skills as this position requires working with multiple departments and following up with clients and prospects.
  • Must have reliable transportation at time of hire.
  • Must be able to travel 50% – 75%
  • Must have 4 years field sales experience
  • Proven record of accomplishment of sales achievements.
